The Fender American Vintage II series offers an exceptionally accurate recreation of the groundbreaking designs that transformed musical history. Crafted with period-correct bodies, necks, and hardware, premium finishes, and meticulously tuned, year-specific pickups, each instrument embodies the true essence of Fender craftsmanship and tone.
By 1963, a new blend of tonewoods combined the punch and clarity of alder with the warmth of a round-lam rosewood fingerboard, enriching the iconic Tele® twang. The American Vintage II 1963 Telecaster® features Pure Vintage '63 Telecaster pickups, a triple-threaded steel saddle bridge, and a comfortable "C"-shaped maple neck, faithfully reproducing the original's quintessential tone and feel. True to its 1963 production, this Telecaster includes clay dots (narrowly spaced at the 12th fret), a 7.25" radius fingerboard, and is available in Crimson Red Transparent over mahogany, and 3-Color Sunburst or Surf Green over alder.
The American Vintage II series instruments are direct descendants of the original Fenders: crafted for players with a deep appreciation for vintage Fender tone and feel, and built with unmatched quality, down to the last screw. These are Fender electrics in their purest form: Fender American Vintage II, the stuff of legends.
