Yamaha DXR8 MK2 Loudspeaker

For several years now, the Yamaha DXR series has stood for quality speakers with surprisingly high power, technological innovation and a superior and clear sound. Yamaha has recently upgraded this entire series and is releasing the DXR-Series MKII. That means more SPL in a larger, but lighter Neodyium HF compression driver. Music now sounds even better and an amplified voice sounds clearer.

With this DXR series MKII, Yamaha is once again working with NEXO's speaker specialists.

The DXR series MKII contains a high-quality class-D amplifier that can produce up to 1100W of power with a maximum SPL of 134 dB. All DXRmkII models feature Yamaha's proprietary FIR-X tuning ™ that uses linear phase FIR filters for the crossover network. FIR-X tuning ™ simultaneously optimizes the frequency and phase response and creates a very smooth response around the crossover point, providing much better clarity and imaging than is possible with typical crossovers.

Another new feature from Yamaha is D-CONTOUR. This is an intelligent multiband compressor that provides a powerful and consistent sound at all output levels.

Finally, there is a built-in mixer with three channels with a summary of connections. You can easily connect your guitar, microphone or DJ set.
