Viscount Legend Organ

The Viscount Legend is an Italian-made high-quality tonewheel organ emulation. No instrument comes as close to the original Hammond organs as this one, neither in sound, nor feeling. The term 'digital organ' is simply inadequate for a device like this. In fact, you'd better think of it as an actual tonewheel organ, but much lighter in weight, way more durable, much more affordable, and without the need for a separate Leslie speaker.

The built-in rotary emulation is one of the best on the market. The Legend is easy to take with you, and you can easily connect it to any PA, in any studio, and on any stage, without having to set up complex microphones, without a six-person team of stage technicians to help draging your organ out of your van, and without the loss of time that comes with all this: just you, your instrument, and the amazing sound it sends through the venue through its jack outputs, simple and efficient. You can easily adjust the speed of the Leslie with the half moon switch, or using a separate pedal for the ultimate ease of use. Of course, in addition to the provided rotary emulation, there is still the possibility to use a real rotary speaker, with the authentic amphenol connector that's provided, for the most truthful experience!

Like the well-known vintage tonewheel organs, the Legend has four sets of 9 drawbars, or two per keyboard, and one set of 2 drawbars for the pedals. Just like 'the real thing', the percussion offers the option to switch off the ninth drawbar. You can find tons of similar options throughout this instrument via the free Legend Editor software. This allows you to tweak the sound of your instrument down to the smallest details, but with the click of a mouse, instead of tinkering with the pieces in a dark and dusty garage: from the frequency of the key click to the individual RPM speeds of the various rotary modes of both horn and drum. You can choose from a wide range of organ emulations, adjust the order of effects routing, or fine-tune the various overdrives to your unique needs and preferences. Such extensive tweak possibilities are simply unseen with similar emulations, and offer you the opportunity to make your instrument sound even more realistic, even more 'vintage', and even more personalized than it already does ... you simply have to see this for yourself and hear what this instrument actually sounds like, because afterwards you won't want anything else!

In terms of connections, the Viscount Legend offers everything you could wish for. MIDI capabilities alone are unseen with most keyboards in this price range, with MIDI over USB, a MIDI input, a separate MIDI input for the separately available foot pedals, a MIDI-thru, and two MIDI outputs. Audio is routed through the 1/4 inch jacks for headphones, output left, output right, a separate output for the pedals, an FX send and return, and an external audio input, for the most sophisticated set-ups, and the most professional situations: from the big stage to the recording studio, where the efficiency of your instrument is pushed to its limits, but where only the Viscount Legend can deliver what is expected! In addition, there is the amphenol connector, known by owners of actual rotary speakers, and a nice addition to the already extensive connectivity of this instrument, as are the expression, rotary and hold jacks for connecting different pedals. Finally, solely because it was possible, a separate USB port has been provided for charging a mobile phone, tablet or E-cigarette. Whatever you need, this instrument has it all!

Some of the real-time controls on the Legend in a nutshell: Reverb (Post / Pre, Hall / Spring); Drive (Classic, Rock); Tonewheel Model ('30, '50, '70); Transpose; Rotary (Direct, Classic / Rock); Hold (Int / Ext); Pedals (Direct, To Lower); various Vibrato and Chorus effects, independently adjustable for the upper and lower keyboard using the familiar rotary knob; Percussion (ON / OFF, 2nd / third, volume, sustain), and so much more. In addition, the Legend has two 'black octaves', one per keyboard, for storing presets.
