With the body shape of the Grand Pacific Dreadnought, dedicated comfort features and premium tonewoods, the Taylor Builder's Edition 517e WHB introduces Taylor players to a new kind of sound in the lineup. The solid mahogany back and sides produce a warm, punchy midrange response with aged warmth protruding from the heated Sitka spruce top and a blended bass with clear low-end power. Brings a mature tone. Our V-class bracing enhances response with more volume and longer sustain while improving harmony between notes. This Builder's Edition model also features chamfered edges and a compound curved neck profile for a more seamless feel, while the Silent Satin finish reduces random playback noise in recording applications.
