The Roland JD-XA is a unique analog-digital crossover synth. It brings together analog warmth and digital versatility in one wildly creative instrument — without compromise! For starters, the JDXA is a completely analog monster. It has four parts, real analog filters and a direct dry output. In addition, there is the 4-part digital sound generator. Roland's SuperNATURAL synth technology powers this sound generator. There is also an impressive selection of powerful digital effects. You can use the Roland JD-XA's sound sources separately or interactively. This provides an incredibly flexible and versatile platform for sound design, studio work and live performance. Use the analog and digital parts side by side, layer them up to create a real wall of sound, or knead digital waveforms through the analog filters to create sounds you've never heard before. With the Roland JD-XA you can forget about analog or digital – just close your eyes, imagine what the future sounds like, and start making music.
