Roland VAD706-GN Electronic Drum Kit V-Drums Acoustic Design - Gloss Natural

Roland has manufactured the ultimate electronic drum kit: the VAD-706. The digital snaredrum and ride pads were already introduced and used for kits such as the TD-27 of the VAD503/VAD506), but now there is also the digital hi-hat; the VH-14D. Thanks to this digital hi-hat, the new TD-50X module and the full-size wooden shells, the VAD706 is the ultimate fusion of acoustic and electronic drums. In addition, the VAD706 is available in no less than four colors: Gloss Natural, Gloss Cherry, Gloss Ebony, and Pearlescent White.

TD-50X

Just like the new TD-50KV2 and the TD-50KV, the VAD-706 also has the latest TD-50X module. The so-called Prismatic Sound Modelingin this module makes electronic drums come to life like no other system can. Inspired by a prism - which refracts a single beam of light into every color of the spectrum - our revolutionary approach produces an unlimited number of tones with every stroke. Combined with behavioral modeling techniques and new samples recorded in the world's best studios, your drumming has no limits with the TD-50X module.

VH-14D

Also new and included with the Roland VAD-706 is the digital hi-hat, the VH-14D. We already knew the digital snaredrum and ride pads, but Roland is now adding a digital hi-hat as well. It is the first of its kind! Accurate multi-sensors work in complete harmony with the TD-50X module, capturing every nuance with incredible definition and detail, with touch response, tonal variation and unparalleled open / closed resolution. Truly one of a kind!
