The Kemper Profiler Head Black is the ultimate solution for every guitar player who likes to have full control over his unique sound, without having to drag around with special amps, cabinets and microphones. This devil-does-all has everything you could wish for under the hood, from unique amp simulations to stompboxes and cabinets.
The heart of this head is the technology that they call 'Profiling'. This is in fact amp simulation, but from the very last generation, which guarantees a depth like you will never have experienced before. The starting point: making the sound of a real tube amp manageable and effortless and in all circumstances. Kemper thus meets the demand that guitarists have been asking about tube amp for centuries. After all, people often work in the studio for weeks or longer on what then becomes that specific sound that makes the guitar player unique. That sound is often achieved through unique signal paths: unique amps from, for example, the sixties are combined with a number of custom cabinets and so on. On the other hand, there is the specific space and the microphones used and their arrangement that play their role. All this is difficult to reproduce on stage or even in another studio. With the Kemper, however, you turn the situation into a unique 'profile' that you can recall whenever you want. This of course opens up a range of options that you could not have had in the past. Jealous of that friend with that crazy amp? Make it a 'profile' and you also have the sound at your disposal! That way you can always expand your range of tone options yourself.
If you don't immediately have an amplifier in house that is worth profiling; no worries. You can immediately have a nice range of amps, cabinets and microphones. And there are some very nice ones, often from famous guitarists and studio gurus! Moreover, you can download and exchange profiles online to your heart's content.
This head is also extremely useful on stage. You no longer have to drag that heavy tube amp with you. You can connect it directly to an active monitor or the PA. If you want, you can of course still use your own cabinet (if you put a poweramp in between or use the powered version of the Profiler). No other amp or multi-effect will give you the opportunity to bring that exact sound from the studio to the stage!
