Ibanez RG550 Purple Neon

This Ibanez RG550 Purple Neon belongs to the RG series from Ibanez (originally the Roadstat Guitars). Those are underlying of their body design, playability and tremolo. The typical off-set double-cut body, with pointed horns, is also known as 'superstrat'. RGs have an ultra-thin, flat 24-fret neck that made them much loved in the metal scene. The original RG model was the RG550. It was released in 1987. It was a cheaper version of Steve Vai's original Signature, the JEM777. It retained the playability of the JEM, with the same slinky Wizard neck and Edge tremolo. It allows the craziest shifts and bendings without losing even a comma in tone stability. The original Ibanez V7, S1, and V8 ups offer unparalleled tonal versatility when combined with the 5-way pickup switch.
