It is no surprise that Focusrite has grown to become the most popular brand for audio interfaces in home studios. The Scarlett series is not only a highly reliable range of audio interfaces, the preamps also sound incredibly good. Focusrite has some interesting upgrades with the third generation of audio interfaces.
Just like its predecessors, the Focusrite Scarlett Solo has two inputs, one via XLR and one via Jack and two outputs via jack. The entire interface is powered by a USB C connection.
The main new feature in these audio interfaces is to add their AIR preamps. AIR is a modulation of the original Focusrite ISA preamps that you can find in the best studios worldwide. Everything that is recorded via a microphone and a third generation Scarlett is going to sound just that little bit warmer and purer.
In addition, the audio converters have also been improved. That means less delay when recording in your favorite DAW and higher sound quality.
