This Fender American Original 70's Tele has a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. This allows the body to breathe and contributes to the specific tonal character of this guitar. In addition, this finish ages the wood naturally, a highly coveted quality! This guitar has been recreated in the smallest detail according to authentic original principles, from pickups to hardware. She has the first authentic CuNiFe magnetic Wide Range pickup in over 40 years! It gives the clear bell-like humbucking sound you're looking for in a Tele. Also design wise, this instrument has been reproduced as naturally as possible. Every curve of the body, and the original shape of the neck are confirmed and authentic. The fingerboard has a radius of 9.5 inches. is slightly flatter than the vintage 7.25" radius, which makes for a more comfortable playing experience. The Vintage Tall frets also make it easy to bend the notes during your masterful solos!
