This Fender 1963 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic 3-Color Sunburst reflects the sweeping changes to the Fenderstrats of the early 1960s. The line received a new neck profile, a round laminated rosewood fingerboard and a renewed pickguard configuration. All this contributed to an innovative sound, a more modern look, and of course better playability. The Fender Journeyman Relic Strat features a two-piece alder body, with a deep contour for playing comfort and accessibility to the highest registers. You shred faster than ever before thanks to the maple neck with the 1963 C profile and the 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard. It has 21 small tall frets for a stable playing experience across the entire neck. The sound of the Fender 1963 Journeyman Relic deriving from the hand-wound Fat '60s pickups that produce a rich and full classic '60s tone, the Fender 1963 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic is a true vintage beast that you simply must play!
