Eastman E8OM Orchestra

The Eastman E8OM is great, completely massive and hand-built guitar in orchestra style. Loved by fingerpickers, but widely applicable. Smooth playability through the mahogany neck with ebony fretboard and a dike of a sound through the massive spruce of the top and the solid rosewood of the side and back. Eastman Guitars: excellent guitars with respect for the craft

Eastman is a strong growing name in the world of guitar, and that is no coincidence. From the beginning, the brand has always put quality and craft first. Eastman guitars and mandolins are always made by hand by real luthiers with packs of experience in the profession. The great dedication of these professionals to complete each instrument with precision and care is one of the things Eastman can distinguish. At Eastman we realize that every piece of wood is unique and should be treated like this; no two Eastman guitars are the same. Each instrument is individually adapted and updated until perfection is approached.

Eastman Guitars: the origin

Eastman Instruments was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni, a visionary musician who saw the need for instruments that are made with care, precision and craftsmanship, but still remain affordable. A middle say between the expensive 'customs' with special finishes and the purely machine-made factory instruments. Originally, Eastman revolved around violins, but soon guitars were added after the recruitment and further training of skilled luthiers. These guitars, first presented at the NAMM music fair of 2004, were immediately named and renowned for their excellent quality and excellent price / quality ratio. Many musicians magazine shared that enthusiasm and immediately wrote rave reviews.

Always better and further

Eastman Guitars did not stand still over the years. The various departments often work together and come to interesting cross-pollinations. The new series of guitars with 'Antique Varnish' is a direct result of collaboration with the violins department. In addition, the range continues to expand: once you start playing violins, you can find acoustic guitars, electric solid body guitars, archtops, classical guitars and mandolins at Eastman.

Eastman Traditional Series

One of the most well-known series at Eastman is the Traditional Series. This series includes a series of 'top-notch' acoustic guitars, inspired by the classical instruments from the 'Golden Era' of guitar building. In these times instruments were built by extremely skilled luthiers, with very simple material. With these craftsmen in mind, the Eastman Traditional Series was created. In this series you can find Dreadnoughts, Slope Shoulders, Parlors and OM models, all hand-built, all completely solid, with the best woods such as spruce, rosewood, mahogany, ... Some models in this series: Eastman E6D, Eastman E8OM , Eastman E10 OO SS, Eastman E10D, Eastman E20D.
