Martin DX2E Mahogany
As part of the X series, the Martin DX2E Mahogany is a great deal when it comes to the price / quality ratio. The X series may be from Mexico, but it was made under the watchful eye of the American factory. After all, these instruments must also uphold Martin's name. The guitar has a solid sitka top and HPL sides and backs. HPL is a specially formulated material and stands for 'High Pressure Laminate'. Due to this specific composition, this material is very similar in sound properties to solid wood. Add to this the Fishman element and that typical, warm sound of Martin and with the Martin DX2E Mahogany you have a more than stage-worthy guitar!
