The Yamaha DGX-670 is a powerful digital piano based on Yamaha's renowned Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) technology. It recreates the resonances of the strings of a real grand piano throughout the instrument, making the piano sounds richer and truer than ever before in this piano. This VRM technology comes into its own with the high-quality samples of Yamaha's priced CFX concert grand piano, which combine sparkling highs with powerful and resonant basses in a high-quality sound that can master any genre. Using simple and intuitive parameters, you can adapt that sound to your own personal playing style down to the smallest details, from what room your instrument is in, to how far the grand piano is open!
Yamaha's Graded Hammer Standard keyboard offers you a weighted action, with heavier keys in the low end, and lighter in height ... just like a real grand piano! This is very important for both beginners and experienced pianists, either to learn the correct technique correctly or to properly maintain that technique while studying.
For playing with headphones, this Yamaha DGX-670 also offers you the so-called 'Stereophonic Optimizer' function, which gives you the impression that even when playing with headphones, the sound comes from the instrument itself. This feels more natural and familiar, and helps you achieve the truest performance.
The Adaptive Style Accompaniment analyzes your playing in real time and automatically creates accompaniment for it, adapted to your playing style and volume. The Simple Style reduces the same accompaniment to just the bass and percussion thereof, to emphasize your playing itself! Then add a huge variety of tone and expression with ease with the 630 different HQ sampled instruments, including pianos, electric pianos, organs, wind, strings, synths, percussion, and so much more!
In addition, you can stream music via Bluetooth to this instrument, to play along with your favorite songs via the built-in speakers, to practice with your personal backing tracks, or to just listen to some music from your seat! With that music you can sing along with the microphone that you can easily connect to the DGX-670. You can add various effects to it before recording your performance via the built-in Audio Play & Recording in high-quality WAV format on a USB flash drive.
