Roland Juno DS76 Performance Synthesizer
JUNO is a well-known term for all keyboard players. Together with the Jupiter, the Juno series formed the Roland sound of the 80s. And the JUNO-DS has also been on the market for several years, but still a top in terms of budget all-in-one synths. In addition to a 61- and 88-key version, there is also a 76-key variant. Perfect for the performing musician who still wants something lightweight and mobile.
Any keyboard with the name JUNO should be great. And the JUNO-DS range also succeeds, but in its own way. Roland calls this series 'Performance Synthesizers' and the keyboards under this range are packed with fantastic instruments that are immediately usable for live performances or studio sessions. The sounds are expandable, which you can download from Roland's Axial website. And it is also important that this keyboard is quite hands-on. There are a lot of paramater controllers for live tweaking of the sound, a microphone input for vocoding and vocal effects and an 8-track pattern sequencer. In addition, with the built-in USB audio interface and DAW integration, you can turn it into a real studio master keyboard.
The DS-76 is especially aimed at people who need a solid, portable keyboard that they can take to gigs and move around and who need more than the 61 keys of the DS-61. The DS-76 maintains lightness and portability while having an octave more.
It has 16 parts, 128 voices, more than 1200 patches, 30 drum kits, and even comes with General MIDI 2 compatible sounds. If you want everything in one device that is portable and comprehensive, the DS76 is a fantastic choice.
