Roland JU-06A

According to many, the Roland vintage JUNO synthesizers from Roland determined the sound of the '80s. More and more keyboardists want one or regret selling their copy at the time. This makes these synths increasingly popular on the second-hand market. With the Roland JU-06A you get the sound, the look and the functions of both the Roland JUNO-60 and the Rolannd JUNO-106 in one reliable, modern instrument that you can take with you everywhere.

The Roland JU-06A is compact but comfortable: for long studio sessions and epic live performances. It works on batteries and has a handy built-in speaker: the roland JUNO travels with you everywhere. The sturdy metal panels and flowing sliders with metal shafts feel great, and are resistant to the rough life on the road (them. And it also looks authentic, with the known and beloved vintage styling.
The Roland JU-06A offers the best of the JUNO-60 and the JUNO-106 in one synth. It has the continuous high-pass filter of the 106, the envelope controllable pulse-width modulation of the 60, and the unique filtering behavior of both: directly switchable via the front panel. The sound is indistinguishable from its vintage counterparts, not even when tweaking the controls or when using extreme settings. And no vintage JUNO would be complete without the swirling sound of its legendary chorus: faithfully reconstructed here.
Although the Roland JUNO-106 filter might be your preference, you might miss the ROland JUNO-60's arpeggio function. The Roland JU-06A has them both! And adds another chord memory and built-in sequencer. Creating sequence lines with a chord memory results in polyphonic phrases that sound crazy, full and thick. Very unusual for such a small instrument.

With USB audio / MIDI and full-size MIDI connections you can play and synchronize almost any equipment. There is also an external clock input, so you can sync with vintage analog instruments or modern Eurorack systems. This is not only useful, but the use of an external clock to control the built-in sequencer can also produce unexpected phrases, rhythmic variations and other fun accidents.

Thanks to its compact size, the Roland JU-06A fits almost anywhere on or in, and is easy to operate from a master keyboard or DAW. Add a Roland DK-01 Boutique Dock for a polished look and three handy tilt positions. Or add a K-25m Keyboard Unit, and you have a fully stand-alone, portable instrument that offers an experience without cables and other complications.
