Pioneer has outdone itself again with the XJD-XZ!
The first important point is that it can be used with both Serato DJ and Rekordbox. This makes it immediately versatile if several DJs use the same device.
Also new are the 3 USB inputs so you can run uninterrupted. With the little brothers (XDJ-RX2 and XDJ-RR) there are 2.
In addition to using USB sticks and as a controller, you can also expand the XDJ-XZ with external sources. It is even possible to connect CDJ models via Pro DJ Link so that you can operate them via the 7” touchscreen on the XZ.
The layout is taken directly from the DJM-900NXS2 and XDJ-1000 with features such as 14 Beat FX, 6 Sound Color FX, 'On Jog' Displays and 3-band EQ on the master.
As icing on the cake, you have 8 RGB-pads per deck to set Hot-Cues and create Beat-loops or Beat-Jumps.
Finally, the microphone inputs have also been upgraded. There are now 2 with their own volume control and EQ settings.
With the XDJ-XZ you can play your sets like a pro!
