Martin DC13E Dreadnought
The Martin DC13E Dreadnought is part of the Road Series, a series that effortlessly combines high quality with an excellent price. They are made in Mexico, under the strict supervision of the American factory. This also applies to this new 13 model. The guitar is completely solid, but has a somewhat surprising composition que woods. The top is from sitka spruce, which is traditional, but the sides and back are mutenye. Just like rosewood and mahogany, Mutenye is a tropical wood and has similar sound characteristics. Rosewood, in particular, is becoming increasingly scarce, which is why alternatives are emerging. It certainly doesn't turn out bad with this guitar: the tone is full and warm, yet transparent. The guitar is also nice and light and easy to treat. Moreover, it is very playable by the fast neck profile. She is perfectly adjusted by the PLEK machine. With the Fishman element you can easily connect it to a PA or amplifier.
