Martin D18

The Martin D18 is perhaps one of the most popular dreadnoughts ever in the world. To be heard in countless productions over the past 70 years. The concept has remained unchanged all this time: a dreadnought dyke with a sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and backs. Thanks to the mahogany, it has a very different resonance than the D28, with rosewood sides and backs. The 18 can be called 'warmer' or 'woolier', but it is certainly not lacking in presance. A very nice sustain is also his part, thanks in part to the scaloped bracing. Whether you are a strummer or a fingerpicker, this dreadnought can certainly be your friend for life.
