This Korg PA700 is not the first keyboard from the famous Professional Arranger series (PA series). This is an extremely successful and renowned series of arranger keyboards and workstations, which is best known for its unprecedented high-quality sound quality and unsurpassed range of features and functionality. Korg's innovative and progressive new technologies blend flawlessly with the rich history and knowledge that this brand has built up over the years. The result is this incredibly user-friendly and unimaginably versatile PA700.

The Korg PA700 is designed within a concept that combines sleek contours with a professional signature. While its size may seem modest, its sound is colossal, thanks to the power of the built-in high-quality custom-designed amplification system. The 2 x 25 Watt amplifier drives the 2 speakers in a bass reflex enclosure for a rich and full listening experience. The control panel has been optimized to ensure that all controls are ergonomically and intuitively positioned to make any performance feel smooth and natural. The new capacitive TouchView display houses a graphical interface that is easier than ever to read, even under difficult lighting conditions.

The Korg PA700 is based on KORG's advanced EDS-X sound engine (Enhanced Definition Synthesis-eXpanded), and features 1,700 ready-to-use sounds. This faithful collection is an immense collection of classic and contemporary keyboards, band and orchestral instruments, plus electronic and acoustic instruments - from techno to folk. Included are two multi-layered concert grand pianos (with damper and cabinet resonance), as well as some amazing electric pianos from the acclaimed KORG SV-1 stage piano.

The digital drawbar organ includes key-on / off noise, leakage and rotary speaker emulation. In addition to this, the PA700 features new wind instruments, strings and basses, and even acoustic and electric guitars! These sounds have been meticulously captured using state of the art methods, allowing the finest details to be accurately and faithfully reproduced.

Up to 256MB (compressed PCM user memory) is available, so you can easily add your own sounds to it. The General MIDI sound bank (GM) has been improved for increased compatibility with GM files. Additionally, the PA700 can load / import KORG, WAV, AIFF and SoundFont ™ formats and export as WAV and AIFF. Sounds are fully editable, using up to 24 oscillators per note!
