The HM-400 is a nice drum kit for beginners and hobbyists who want to go a step further than the simplest entry-level. With the HM-400 you can start your first band in style and more! More advanced drummers can also make a good impression with the HM-400. The HM-400 is of decent quality and has heavy-duty stands that can take a beating.
The Hayman HM-400 is a 5-piece rock drum set. In addition to the music style, the term rock also says something about the composition of the drum set and the sizes of the shells. A rock drum kit has larger toms than, for example, a jazz drum kit and they are often tuned a bit lower. The toms of a rock drum kit are 12, 13 and 16 inches, the snare drum is 14 inches and the bass drum is 22 inches.
A rock drum kit sounds a bit heavier than, for example, a jazz or fusion drum kit, which makes it suitable for blues and rock, for example. Of course it can also be a conscious choice to use a rock drum set for other music styles.
