It is no surprise that Focusrite has grown to become the most popular brand for audio interfaces in home studios. Just like its predecessors, the Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 has two inputs via combo connections, two inputs via jack connection and four outputs via jack connection. The entire interface is powered by a USB C connection. It is also important that this interface has both a five pin DIN input and an output.
The main new feature in these audio interfaces is to add their AIR preamps. AIR is a modulation of the original Focusrite ISA preamps that you can find in the best studios worldwide.
