Fender Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang Fiesta Red
This Fender Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang Fiesta Red represents the best of both worlds. Cobain used the Jaguar on Nirvana's Nevermind tour, and the Mustang in the 'Smells like teen spirit' clip. Together with Fender's Custom Shop, he designed a signature model that combined his favorite elements from both guitars. This Jag-Stang commemorates the 30th anniversary of the album 'Nevermind'. She has an alder body. Alder has a typically punchy sound, making this Fender Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang perfect for playing large power chords. She has a 24 inch short-scale scale. This reduces the tension of the strings. This in combination with the fingerboard radius of 7.5 inches ensures that this guitar plays very smoothly and comfortably. The tone is generated by a vintage-style single coil, and a custom humbucking pickup... Perfect for recreating Cobain's original sound. You can flexibly adjust it to your liking thanks to the Mustang slide switches.
