This Fender American Vintage II 1960 Precision Bass RW Daphne Blue is a great rendition of the original 60's P-Bass. The late 50's and early 60's was a turning point in the development of the Precision Bass, a transitional period during which many new devices that have become synonymous with the P-Bass were introduced. By the 1960s, the P-Bass design had surpassed previous Telecaster cues. The current P-Bass features a Strat-style headstock shape, comfortable contours, pickguard-mounted electronics, and a four-saddle bridge. The 1960 Precision Bass was decked out in a tri-color sunburst and topped with a tortoiseshell 4-ply pickguard, representing the model's sleek, durable aesthetic.
The Fender American Vintage II 1960 Precision Bass RW Daphne Blue features a premium alder body, Pure Vintage `60 split-coil P-Bass pickups, and a solid C-shaped hard rock maple neck finished with a 7.25"-radius rosewood fingerboard.
