The SB55/V-SB Mahogany P90 Single Cut has a solid okoume mahogany body, and delivers the playing experience of a 'lightweight', but without sacrificing its sound. The Antique Varnish finish emphasizes the visual and tonal splendor of this guitar. This finish is smoother than standard lacquer, and uses the thinner layer of varnish from Eastman's violin workshop for a fuller, wider and more open and resonant sound, giving these instruments a truly unique sound.

The SB55/V-SB has a Lollar 50's Spec P90 pickup in the bridge position. This lower output pickup produces a brighter and more defined tone, with less distortion. This creates more room to express the nuances in your chord articulation and subtleties in your general playing. This is perfect for players looking for a warm and growling sound, without sacrificing the details.
