The turntable AT-LP120-USB has a new model DC servo motor for direct drive, adjustable dynamic shear force compensation and a switchable phono preamplifier.

This fully manual record player is suitable for 33-1/3, 45 and 78 rpm records and has a USB output, so you can connect it directly to your computer. Download the free Mac and PC compatible audio editing program Audacity (or any other program of your choice) and start converting your records into digital audio files right away. Because the record player also has a detachable double RCA connection cable in addition to the USB output and is equipped with an integrated switchable phono preamplifier, you can connect it directly to your stereo system - even if it does not have a phono input.

The turntable has an S-shaped tone arm with adjustable tracking pressure and a universal 1/2-inch headshell AT-HS6 with a Dual Magnet™ cartridge AT-VM95E. Audio-Technica has been a leading producer of turntable cartridges for over 50 years. This is also reflected in the versatile, high-quality cartridge AT-VM95E, which comes standard with a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical needle, but is also compatible with all needles of the VM95 series for a wide range of options for every budget and every application.

Other features include a die-cast aluminum platter with a felt mat, a start-stop button, a high-precision quartz-controlled pitch lock and pitch controller with an adjustable pitch range of +/-8% or +/-16%, a stroboscopic platter with speed indicator, a detachable searchlight for the stylus, an external power supply and a detachable hinged dust cover.
